Hello!
While I did have a small introduction, I believe all people deserve the chance to share their own stories. My goal is to help others to be as open and translucent as they desire, so I feel as if I should as well.

My Story
As a child, I knew one day I wanted to help others; whether that be healing others through the power of medicine, educating the world on the mysterious wonders of space, or even caring for animals both large and small. I would one day change the lives of those around me by being there for guidance, no matter how large the issue at hand is.

While my childhood dream was not originally catered towards the Public Relations field, as I completed high school and entered the world of higher education I knew that was where I belong.

Through both attending classes at Iowa State University and gaining social skills through the service industry both serving and bartending, I found that I want to gain even more knowledge and to help people and organizations through crisis management and campaign management.

I believe that interning for a nonprofit organization, Youth Shelters and Services (YSS), had a large impact on where exactly I need to work to be fulfilled with my career. Helping others to feel comfortable enough, and to trust me enough, to share their life stories gave me a sense of purpose; it made me feel as if helping others share their low points of their lives, and to help them navigate those waters, is where my journey needs to lead.

In the future, I hope to find a mentor to guide, educate, and challenge me to become a public relations professional with the goal of handling crises with ease. I am eager to be in contact with you to discuss any future endeavors!
